A New Yorker to her core, Sally Pleet graduated from CCNY in 1959 and later studied at the Museum of Modern Art. From 1960-1995, she was co-director and instructor at NYC’s Community Environments, where she directed projects for the SVA, The Cloisters Museum, NYC Department of Cultural Affairs and Rockefeller Center. Her work, which includes paintings and sculpture, has been exhibited at The Cloisters Museum, the Museum of American Folk Art, the Pavel Zoubok Gallery, and other art spaces.
